The Ballad of Genesis & Lady Jaye
A film by Marie Losier
co-presentation at NewFest
Sunday, July 24th, 10:30pm

To hear someone as intelligent, articulate, and self-aware as Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, a member of the industrial bands Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV, talk about life and love is one of life's true gifts. This poetic, dreamlike film explores Genesis's one true love, her other half, Lady Jaye. The two became one in what they term a pandrogynous relationship, where they got plastic surgery to resemble one another and be one in the same.

Dirty Looks is a roaming screening series, a salon of influences, an open platform for inquiry, discussion and debate.
